About Pawfect Groom
A small team with a big love for dogs.
Our Story
Pawfect Groom started in 2018 when Lucy Harper converted a small unit on North Street into Brighton's cosiest grooming salon. The idea was simple: create a space where dogs actually enjoy being groomed.
Too many grooming salons rush dogs through like a factory line. We do things differently. Every appointment gets a dedicated time slot with one groomer, so your dog gets calm, focused attention from start to finish. No cages, no conveyor belts, no stress.
What started as a one-woman operation has grown into a team of three qualified groomers, each with their own speciality. We've groomed thousands of dogs across Brighton and Hove β from tiny Chihuahuas to giant Great Danes, and everything in between.
We use only natural, cruelty-free products and keep our salon spotlessly clean. Every dog leaves looking great, smelling fresh, and in a better mood than when they arrived (their owners too).

What We Stand For
Dog welfare first
Every decision we make prioritises your dog's comfort and safety. If a dog is stressed, we slow down or reschedule β never force it.
Honesty & transparency
No hidden charges, no upselling. We'll tell you exactly what your dog needs and what it costs before we start.
Continuous learning
Our groomers attend regular training to stay current with the latest techniques, styles, and animal welfare best practices.
Community minded
We support local rescue shelters with free grooming for newly adopted dogs and donate to Brighton Dog Trust every quarter.
